Breast Cancer Awareness Hat Day - Thursday (10/17) - Pay $1 to wear any hat all day or wear a Breast Cancer Awareness or pink hat for free!

Language Arts

• Comparing and contrasting fiction and nonfiction texts with similar themes.
• Read for 30 minutes every night

• Analyzing characters using direct and indirect characterization

• Today we were introduced to the library and began learning our way around it!

• This week we are learning to model and represent integer operations using pictures and manipulatives.

Rainier

• Absolute value.
• Review perfect square & square root test.

Science

• We are finishing up our renewable energy projects. 
• We are beginning the scientific method.

Social Studies

• Today we practiced locating and identifying the regions on a map. 
• Students worked on coloring and labeling their own Geographic Regions Maps during class. Any not completed in class needs to be completed tonight for homework. Maps are open notes and are for a classwork grade.
